RIP Robbie Robertson

Robbie’s songs hit me like a ton of bricks in 9th grade as I was transitioning out of whatever southern CT’s classic rock stations were dishing out. Never much up on the mic as the rest of The Band, his power came through incredible song smithing, dynamic guitar styling, and architecting a sound all their own.

An hour of RR penned tracks - deep cuts, live ones, and fan faves, as well as selections from the Greil Marcus essay about the Band from “Mystery Train.”
